The two candidates for the Alaska House of Representatives will answer questions and clarify their platforms at a forum in the borough assembly chambers Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
The election this year is between Republican incumbent Alan Austerman and Democrat Terry Haines.
Austerman was first elected to the state House in 1995, and has served in both the House and Senate. He is a member of the House Finance Committee.
Haines is a commercial fishing deck hand and recently finished a three-year term on the Kodiak City Council.
The Kodiak Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the forum.
