FDA OKs genetically engineered salmon

Posted: Thursday, March 21, 2019 8:28 am

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration cleared the way for genetically engineered salmon to hit the domestic seafood market on March 8 by removing a 2016 import alert that prevented the product from entering the country.
