More grant funding requested from city than is available

Kodiak nonprofits this year have requested more funding than the city has available to give. The Kodiak City Council will begin discussions tonight on how to distribute that nonprofit grant funding.

The total fiscal year 2018 funding available for nonprofits is $160,700, down nearly 13 percent from $184,500 last year.
