Using a microphone and keyboard, Police Chief Tim Putney controls the speech and actions of the “victims” during a test of Kodiak Police Department’s new virtual reality training equipment on Thursday. The demonstration was part of a two-day tour of the city’s various departments by city council members, which was also open to the public.
