Chaplain Jim Duncan, Director of the Department of Corrections Chaplaincy Division, and Brenda Nagunst, Director of Alaska Correctional Ministries, will be keynote presenters in a mentor-training workshop slated July 12 at the Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center in the Pyramid Room. The schedule includes two identical three-hour sessions, from 9 a.m. to noon and from one to four.

The workshop is designed for those interested in being mentors in the Kodiak Area Mentoring Program.

Ongoing training in the future will be provided by Teresa Slaughter, Jill Bunting and Donna Ruch of KAMP.

Interested persons can register by sending an email to mentorkamp777@aol.com.

Since there are limited slots available, people are urged to register as soon as possible.
