This week’s featured artist is Tears For Fears, which is an English pop/rock band. The band was formed in Bath, England, by Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith in 1981. The band was formed after the breakup of their first band, mod-Influenced Graduate.
They earned platinum status in the U.K. for their first album, “The Hurting,” and their second album, “Songs from the Big Chair,” earned platinum status in both the U.K. and U.S. Their song “Everyone Wants to Rule the World” earned a Brit Award for Best British Single in 1986.
“Head Over Heels” is on my playlist this week. It is an excellent song to listen to and I find it inspiring.
