OCT. 29 

• At 7:50 a.m., Alaska State Troopers received a report of an individual needing assistance with a civil matter. Troopers provided the individual with information. 

• At 2:28 p.m., Alaska State Troopers received a report of an assault. Investigation ongoing. 

• At 5:20 p.m., Alaska State Troopers received a report of an individual who was possibly violating their conditions of release.  Investigation revealed that Jeremy Pruitt, 34, was in violation. Pruitt was arrested for VCOR and remanded to Kodiak Jail without bail. 

• At 6:41 p.m., Alaska State Troopers received a REDDI report.  Troopers made contact with the vehicle. Investigation revealed no impairment.   

• Matthew Tormala, 38 of Mayo, Florida, was issued a misdemeanor citation by the Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Kodiak Post, for making a false statement on his 2020 commercial crew member license. Tormala has a mandatory court date set for Nov. 20 in the Kodiak Courts.

 

OCT. 30 

• At 8:28 a.m., Alaska State Troopers received a report of an individual shooting a bear in self-defense. 

• At 11:05 a.m., Alaska State Troopers received a report of damaged property. 

• At 12:04 p.m., Alaska State Troopers assisted Kodiak Adult Probation in locating an individual.  

• At 12:40 p.m., Alaska State Troopers assisted Kodiak PD in locating an individual. 

• At 5:35 p.m., Alaska State Troopers received a call from an individual seeking guidance on the wording of an eviction notice. 

 

OCT. 31 

• At 1:45 a.m., Alaska State Troopers received a report of a disturbance. An investigation  is ongoing. 

• At 8:45 a.m., Alaska State Troopers received a report that Kendra Lukin, 28, violated her conditions of release. Upon conclusion of the investigation, Lukin was charged with three counts of VCOR. Case closed and charges have been forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office for prosecution. 

• At 1:20 p.m, Alaska State Troopers received a report of a disturbance.  

• At 3:51 p.m, Alaska State Troopers arrested Joseph Griskonis, 49, on an arrest warrant. 

• At 6:34 p.m, Alaska State Troopers provided trick-or-treat patrols.

• At 9:01 p.m.,  Alaska State Troopers contacted Timothy Pruitt, 33, as a result of a traffic stop for motor vehicle violations. Pruitt had active Kodiak Police Department arrest warrants for failure to appear in court on the original charges of DUI and MICS 5. Pruitt was transported to Kodiak Jail and remanded without bail.

• At 9:50 p.m., Alaska State Troopers received a report of a possible intoxicated driver.  Troopers made contact with the vehicle and an investigation revealed the driver was not intoxicated. 

• At 11:50 p.m., Alaska State Troopers received a report of an individual who shot a bear.  

NOV. 1 

• At 12:01 p.m., Alaska State Troopers received a report of an abandoned vehicle. Troopers responded to the area and were unable to locate it. 

• At 5:55 p.m., Alaska State Troopers received a welfare check request. Troopers responded to the residence and investigation revealed that all was okay.

 

NOV. 2 

• At 9:41 a.m., Alaska State Troopers received a report of a theft. An investigation is ongoing. 

• At 10:43 a.m, Alaska State Troopers received a report of damaged property.  

• At 12:02 p.m., Alaska State Troopers received a report of a motorist needing assistance.  Troopers responded to the vehicle, but there was no one inside.

• At 6:52 p.m., Alaska State Troopers received a report of a domestic violence assault. USCG will be taking over the investigation and maintain case responsibility. 

• Leontey Kuzmin, 28 of Delta Junction, was issued a misdemeanor citation by the Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Kodiak Post for retaining over his bycatch percentage of sablefish. Kuzmin has a mandatory court date set for Dec. 4 in the Kodiak Courts.

 

NOV. 3

• At 11:15 a.m., Alaska State Troopers assisted an individual. 

• At 12:57 p.m., Alaska State Troopers received a report of an abandoned vehicle. 

• At 1:30 p.m., Alaska State Troopers assisted Anchorage Police Department in an interview.  

• At 2:46 p.m, Alaska State Troopers received a report of a disturbance. Troopers responded and parties separated.  

• At 8:09 p.m, Alaska State Troopers received a report of a disturbance. Troopers responded to the residence. Investigation revealed that no crimes were committed. 

• At 1:24, Alaska State Troopers received a report of some suspicious circumstances.  Investigation is ongoing.
