On July 16th, Judy Lyn Williams was called home after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
She was born 70 years ago in Dorr, MI to Jozius and Gladys DeKraker. After graduating from South Christian High School she began working at Dura Plating where she would fall in love with and eventually marry her best friend, Gregory Williams.
Together they successfully raised three children, called five states home, made friends wherever they went and watched their children have children.
Judy and Greg moved to Kodiak in 2001 where he began working at Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center. After his retirement in 2015, they moved to Montana to be closer to their children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 50 years, Gregory; dearly loved mother-in-law Leora; children Candace; Beth (David) and their children; Robert (Michelle) and their children; her siblings Joan (Larry), Betty (Jerry), Bonnie (John), Joe (Jane), Bart (Kathy); Victoria (Mark), Kevin (Amy), Bill (CJ); plus many, many cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Kodiak friends were Mark and Linda Kozak, Jeff and Lea Wheater, Joe and Sue Roberts, and many more.
A memorial service will be held August 11 in Marysville, Montana. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the tomorrowclubs.org.
