Icon A5 Kodiak Alaska Water Landing (MSFS 2020)
Alaska is big and beautiful. You knew that, I knew that, but since I've been virtually flying around Alaska in Microsoft Flight Simulator, my appreciation for these facts has grown. Whether it's flying an F-15 over Denali's endless snowy mountains or a landing a Savage Cub on a remote sand bar or bush strip or exploring Kodiak Island (a mere 3600 square miles) in an Icon A5 amphibian, it's just an amazing virtual place. I bet the real one is pretty cool too - someday!
I just realized this is the first time I have flown the A5 with a recently released free mod that improves performance and adds a full autopilot capable Garmin G3X touch screen navigation system. Sweet!
