Landon David Plylar was born at 4:31 a.m. on March 30, 2011, to Luisa and Kevin Plylar. He weighed 8 pounds and measured 21 inches long.

His parents are originally from Colombia and South Carolina and now live in Kodiak. His mother works at Key Bank and his father works at Air Station Kodiak.

Proud grandparents are Victoria and Luis Portilla of Cartagena, Colombia, and Virginia and Wayne Plylar of Spartanburg, S.C.

Alexis Rylee Sterrett was born at 10:42 a.m. on April 1, 2011, to Michael Paul Sterrett and Melissa Ann Sterrett. She weighed 7 pounds, 13 ounces, and measured 20 inches long.

Her parents are originally from Washington and Idaho and now live in Kodiak. Her mother works at home and her father works for the U.S. Coast Guard.

Also welcoming her to the family is Zachary Ryder Sterrett. Proud grandparents are Lyman and Melodee Moore of Sequim, Wash., and Debbie Nevala and Ken Sterrett of Idaho and Montana.

Kael Liam O’Connor was born to Kevin and Lindsey O’Connor.

His parents are originally from McAllen, Texas, and now live in Kodiak. His mother works at the child development center and his father works at Communication Station Kodiak.

Proud grandparents are Guillermo and Laura O’Connor of McAllen, and Clark Curry and Rhonda Wall of McAllen.
