Kodiak craft bazaar

Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7056 hosts the Kodiak Community Crafters bazaar from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Shop for Made in Kodiak-branded items and support charities with food donations and a raffle.

Holiday Bells concert

Isle Bells, Kodiak’s handbell choir, performs at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday in the Kodiak Harbor Convention Center. Tickets are available at the Kodiak Arts Council office, from choir members, or at the door. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for kids 12 and younger, or $25 for a family.

Nutcracker photo opportunity

Bring your family to the Gerald C. Wilson Auditorium between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sunday for a photo opportunity with characters from the upcoming performance of the Nutcracker. Performances begin next week, but now is your chance to meet Mother Ginger, the Sugar Plum Fairy, the Snow Queen and more. There is a suggested $5 donation for photographs.

Book swap

The Kodiak Public Library Association hosts a book swap at the Kodiak Island Brewing Company from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Drop off books at the brewery any time or up to 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Proceeds from the sale benefit the library association.
