The First Friday Art Walk is from 5-7p.m. today. Local art is on display at The Frame Shop, the Alutiiq Museum, Northern Exposure Gallery, Baranov Museum, the Gerald C. Wilson Auditorium, the Kodiak Refuge Visitor Center and Harborside Fly-By.

Galley Tables is from 7-9 p.m. today at the Kodiak High School drama pod. The topic for this month is "It Takes a Village."

The Kodiak High School dance team is hosting a free family movie night at 7:30 p.m. tonight at the KHS gym. The movie is “Despicable Me.” The dance team is also having a bake sale and selling popcorn and drinks. An adult must accompany children under the age of 12.

Rep. Alan Austerman is having a constituent meeting at 1p.m. Saturday at the legislative information office.

The Kodiak Arts Council's 24th Annual Arts and Adventure Auction is 7 p.m. Saturday at the Convention Center. Doors open at 6 p.m. Admission is $10.

Feels like Jupiter is performing a benefit concert for the Kodiak Baptist Mission Food Bank at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Gerald C. Wilson Auditorium. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for students or canned food.
