Student drug use research

The Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation invites Kodiakans to learn more about the findings from the Kodiak Harmful Legal Product Prevention Project. The project investigated student drug use and substance abuse. A community meeting starts at 10 a.m. today at Kodiak College, Campus Center, Room 127.

Brown Bear Days continue

The inaugural edition of Kodiak Brown Bear Days continues today with a volunteer project to clean the Madsen bear statue outside the Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center at 10 a.m. and a lecture by guide and author Harry Dodge at noon.
