Babies on Track

The Kodiak Area Native Association hosts a Babies on Track gathering at noon Saturday in the A. Holmes Johnson Memorial Library. The Babies on Track program is intended to encourage early learning and healthy activities for children 2 and younger. Pick up a pair of free board books and helpful tips.

KHS dance team show

The Kodiak High School dance team hosts its “True Colors” performance at 7 p.m. Saturday in the Gerald C. Wilson Auditorium. Tickets are $5 for seniors and students, $8 for adults and free for children younger than two. Admission is paid at the door.

Literary club

The Baranov Museum literary club meets at 2 p.m. Sunday to discuss Charlotte Brontë’s “Jane Eyre.” RSVP with marie@baranovmuseum.org or call 486-5920.

Homes for older cats

The Kodiak Animal Shelter has begun a program to encourage the adoption of older cats. Through a grant from the Winston Checkers Feline Fund, the shelter is offering discounts on any adoption of a cat 7 years or older. Contact the shelter at 486-8077.
