Jayce Oscar Riley Malutin arrived at 3:54 a.m. on February 24, 2019 to Nick Malutin Sr. and Nadia Charliaga. He weighed seven pounds, six ounces and was 19 inches long. His parents are originally from Larsen Bay and Karluk and now live in Kodiak. Also welcoming Jayce into the family are siblings William and Nick. Grandparents are Gladys Charliaga from Karluk. And Marie Sqartsoff from Larsen Bay.


Clint and Kelley Moudy welcome a baby boy! Kade Russell Moudy was born at 11:33 p.m. on February 23, 2019. He weighed seven pounds, 11 ounces and was 20 inches in length. His parents are from McCall, Idaho and Kodiak and now live in Kodiak. The baby’s mother works at Kings Diner and baby’s father works for Alaska Hydraulics. Kade’s grandparents are Lynn (Spanky) Hutcherson and Bobbi Wiest from Kodiak. And Ken and Nancy Moudy from McCall, Idaho.

Baby boy Bryson Lee Gray arrived at 6:15 p.m. on February 22, 2019 to Nick and Amanda Gray. He weighed six pounds and one ounce. His parents are originally from Huntsville, Alabama and now live in Kodiak. Baby’s father is with the U.S. Coast Guard. Also welcoming Bryson into the family is big brother Danny. His grandparents are Dave and Karen Cunefare. And Vickie Gray from Huntsville, Arizona. 


Liam Francis Rodgers, a boy, was born at 3:41 a.m. on February 22, 2019 to Stephen and Cheryl Rodgers. He weighed nine pounds, one ounce and was 20 inches long. Liam’s parents are originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico and now live in Kodiak. The baby’s mother works at North Star Elementary and his father works at the USCG Air Station Kodiak. Grandparents are Buddy and Cindy Crofton from Albuquerque, New Mexico. And Tim and Christine Rodgers drom Des Moines, Iowa.
