Photo of the Day

My house is about 40 feet from Island Lake and I was treated to
this little show Sunday evening.  For several hours two very young loon
chicks rode around on the back of one parent while the other parent fished
and fed them. In the photo the parent is giving a small fish to one chick
while the other chick watches.
