Alaska State Troopers in Kodiak identified the sixth crewman on the fishing vessel Big Valley as Danny Romain Maurits Vermeersch, 33, from Belgium.

The Coast Guard ended its search Monday evening for three of the crew who fell from the hull of the Kodiak-based crabber Big Valley after it rolled Saturday morning 70 miles west of St. Paul. The crewmembers not recovered are skipper Gary Edwards, 46, of Kodiak; Josias Hernandez Luna, 48, of Anchorage; and Aaron Marrs, 27, of Nashville, Tenn.

The body of Carlos Rivera, 35, of Uruguay and that of Vermeersch were recovered at the scene.

Cache Seel, 30, the only survivor, was found by the Coast Guard in a life raft and is recovering in Kodiak.

Services for the dead and missing crew are being scheduled.
