South Dakota School of Mines cross country runner Lucas Fried, a Kodiak High School alumni, finished 21st at the Dakota Athletic Conference Championship on Friday in Rapid City, S.D.

Fried, who was fifth on his team, finished the 7,920-meter run in 29 minutes, 33.80 seconds.
